2024 / 2025 - Booking Terms and Conditions
NOTES FOR FITs (Free Independent Travelers) RESERVATIONS:
• All reservations will have a lock status (not guaranteed reservation) until receipt of the corresponding deposit. Upon receipt of the deposit, then the condition of the booking becomes a confirmed reservation (and subject to the conditions outlined as Cancellation and Penalties).
• If the travel agent or tour operator does not meet the payment dates set for their passenger reservations, Mindo Cloud Forest.com reserves the right to cancel the reservation and is not responsible of future claims from passengers.
DISCOUNTS AND SUPPLEMENTS:
• In the Mindo Tours can travel children of any age, but caring for their physical integrity and their welfare depend and is the sole responsibility of the child's parents.
• Children under 12 years, receive a discount of 20% of the normal rate.
• Tour group from more than 12 up to 20 people, the price corresponding of ground transport and tour guidance has no charge. This is in case of day tours.
CONFIRMATIONS & PAYMENTS FOR FITs (Free Independent Travelers of 1 or 2 people):
• We take your tour reservation with the 100% of the total cost of the tour.
• For Bird Tour Package we do take your bird tour reservation with at least the 70% of the total cost of the Bird Tour.
CONFIRMATIONS & PAYMENTS FOR TOUR GROUPS (more than 2 people):
• We take your tour reservation with the 50% of the total cost of the tour and the remaining during the date when tour starts.
CANCELLATIONS & PENALTIES FOR FITs (Free Independent Travelers of 1 or 2) or TOUR GROUPS (groups more than 2):
• Cancellation 30 days or more prior departure date, penalty of the 10% of full booking amount plus taxes and bank fees. The remaining amount will be refunded within the next 2 months.
• Cancellation 29 to 7 days prior departure date, penalty of the 50% of full booking amount plus taxes and bank fees. The remaining amount will be refunded within the next 2 months.
• Cancellation 6 days prior departure date, penalty of the 100% of the full booking amount, there are not refunds for any reason.
